Senior Conflicts Attorney

Summary
The Senior Conflicts Attorney will participate in all aspects of conflicts searching and new business intake and will be a member of the team responsible for clearing conflicts for lateral lawyer and staff candidates.
Responsibilities
- Assisting partners of the firm with the identification, analysis, and resolution of potential legal and business conflicts.
- Drafting and reviewing engagement letters and waivers.
- Clearing conflicts for incoming lateral candidates.
- Provide advice to the firm’s lawyers on conflicts and new business intake-related ethics rules and policies.
- Assist with departmental projects and initiatives as needed.
Requirements
- JD required.
- At least 3-5 years of experience as a practicing attorney in a conflicts department required.
- Significant knowledge of the rules governing conflicts of interest and experience analyzing conflicts of interest in a law firm environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent work ethic, organizational skills, attention to detail and flexibility to manage a varied workload in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent character and personal integrity to work with the utmost professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
This is a hybrid role which requires in-office attendance in accordance with the schedule set forth by the department. A hybrid schedule is an essential function of this role
Compensation
$200,000.00, plus bonus-flexible based on experience
