Litigation Docket Clerk

Summary
Premier, boutique, global, law firm is seeking a Docket Clerk to support firmwide case teams by providing docketing, calendaring, and related services for all firm matters. This role involves maintaining the daily docket, ensuring compliance with court rules, executing court filings, and facilitating service of process.
Responsibilities
• With guidance and supervision by attorneys and senior paralegals, maintain and update the firm’s docket and case-related litigation calendars to ensure compliance with procedural deadlines and applicable rules.
• Ensure accurate data entry of relevant information into docket platform.
• Monitor calendar to ensure case teams are aware of filing deadlines and generate related reports.
• Assist with e-filings, coordinate service of process, and act as liaison with court personnel, process servers, and other related vendors.
• Provide general administrative support to case teams, including retrieving court documents, conducting research related to court rules, procedures, and time calculations.
• Maintain accurate attorney filing credentials, create court admission accounts for attorneys and troubleshoot credential issues.
• Assist with reconciling docket reports and solving docket inconsistencies with respect to incoming file transfers.
• Partner with Director of Practice Management to identify, recommend and implement process efficiencies.
• Other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications, Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 to 5 years of litigation docketing experience at an AMLAW 100 or 200 law firm.
• Direct experience with the firm’s docketing software-Deadline Assistant, or equivalent rules-based platform.
• Knowledge of litigation processes, court rules, procedures, and court filings, including computing deadlines and electronic filings.
• Notary Public license preferred.
• Willingness to work a minimum of 3-days in office and the flexibility to work outside normal business hours, when necessary.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and track extensive details.
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with clients and all levels of personnel while handling confidential information sensitively and discreetly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, while demonstrating initiative, diplomacy and tact when under pressure.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, advanced knowledge of Excel preferred.

Compensation: $75,000.00-$100,000.00, plus overtime and bonus
