The Opportunity
Drive revenue to a billion-dollar, global law firm through strategic initiatives, client events, marketing materials, and presentations. High visibility within marketing department, including close interaction with Chief Marketing Officer, and with partners in our premier Litigation practices. Opportunity to be mentored and to hone key marketing skills, including persuasive writing, project management, research and targeting, and event planning. Work closely with our Litigation practices nationwide to develop and implement business development plans. Research and identify opportunities for promoting and cross‑selling and conduct research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities to expand the client base, deepen existing client relationships, and increase external and internal visibility. Provide guidance on worthwhile sponsorship opportunities and coordinate related relationships and events. Prepare marketing collateral, including customized pitches/RFPs, presentations, and web copy. Plan events and marketing campaigns to promote them and maximize their impact. Maintain updated marketing materials, matter database, and attorney biographies. Ensure meticulous execution of all projects and work, with data and content consistently accurate and well presented. Collaborate effectively with marketing colleagues and attorneys throughout the firm’s global network, including in Europe and Asia. Ensure client service and satisfaction are attained in all areas of the position.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required. At least five years of law firm marketing experience.
- Working knowledge of litigation space strongly desired.
- Strong knowledge of core marketing principles including driving innovative tools and programs, competitive intelligence, market research, and pitch and RFP responses.
