Summary
Our Client is seeking a staff attorney to join the Financial Institutions Practice Group supporting a client’s legal team. The Group will initially consist of a Portfolio Company Team and a Regulatory Filing Team. The Portfolio Company Team engages with portfolio companies on legal and compliance matters, including collecting portfolio company information, coordinating and managing portfolio company outreach, and responding to portfolio company requests. The Regulatory Filing Team coordinates with deal counsel, regulatory counsel and others for the review and processing of the client’s regulatory filings. The new hire will primarily sit within the Regulatory Filing Team, however is expected to also support the Portfolio Company Team in updating and tracking portfolio company information and assist with other matters as requested by the client from time to time. Primary responsibilities for this role include the following: (i) review regulatory filings, including coordinating with deal counsel, special/regulatory counsel, funds counsel, the client’s legal and compliance team to ensure accuracy and consistency of client disclosures; (ii) track regulatory filings made (a) in connection with the sale or acquisition of a portfolio company, and (b) by client; (iii) track regulatory regimes that portfolio companies and client are subject to; (iv) assist with responses to portfolio company requests relating to client information for regulatory compliance purposes. Candidates must be admitted to practice law (or eligible to obtain admission promptly) in New York. New York Applicants: Salaries may vary by location. In New York City, the estimated target salary range of this role is $130,000– $160,000. Salary determinations are made based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to, the relevant market and the skill, experience, class or graduation year, and education of the selected candidate.
Skills & Experience
Required
- Candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school.
- Must be in good standing and an active member of the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) where the candidate is admitted to practice.

$130,000.00-$160,000.00, plus bonus
