Corporate M&A Associate

Dallas, TX or Houston, TX 

Summary 

Our client is seeking a Corporate associate with 2-4 years to join our team in either the Dallas or Houston office. The successful candidate will have a background in a wide array of corporate matters, such as mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital markets. Private equity experience or tax equity experience on the corporate side will be considered a plus. High academic achievement, law firm experience, and strong research, analytical, writing, and communication skills are essential. Candidates must be licensed to practice in Texas or be willing to take the Texas Bar Exam.

Skills & Experience

Required

• Candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school (T14 school is preferred.)
• Must be in good standing and an active member of the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) where the candidate is admitted to practice.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and track extensive details.
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with clients and all levels of personnel and handle confidential information sensitively and discreetly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, while demonstrating initiative, diplomacy and tact when under pressure.

The salary range for this position is $260,000.00-$435,000.00, plus bonus
