Summary

  • The Firm seeks a Fiduciary Administrator to assist the Private Client Services attorneys in all aspects of the department’s California estate and probate practice.
  • Responsibilities
  • Organizing and liquidating estate assets
  • Preparing documents in connection with post-mortem trust administration
  • Preparing Probate Court filings
  • Assisting in obtaining asset valuations
  • Reviewing accountings
  • Preparing cash reconciliations and proposed asset distributions
  • Preparing documents to assist with estate planning, including deeds, assignments of entity interests, beneficiary designations, powers of attorney and health care directives
  • Preparing federal/state estate tax returns
  • Creating entities, including preparing state filings and organizational documents
  • Coordinating administration matters with clients and advisors

Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Five years’ of trust & estates experience administering estates of high-net worth clients
  • Experience in California Estate planning required
  • Accounting/finance background a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Quickly and proactively identify and analyze problems, develop solutions and deliver results
  • Work well under pressure in a team environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Work considerable overtime when required, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, as well as the ability to learn new software and applications
